Sump

Spent all day going around picking up stuff for the tank. Cleaned out the sump really good, and did a test fit (See above).

Still got lots of work to do. Gotta drill the sump on the right side instead, for the output. Gotta make the rest of the overflow for my tank. Gotta make my skimmer. Bleh, no one said it was this much work!

Met up with Shane at OA today, where he picked up a Mantis Shrimp. Holy cool! Grabbed a return pump (T3) and also 2 175 MH kit from him. Someone lend me some money to pay this guy back!

Score

Scored huge today. I met Darren (DJ88) at JL yesterday, and was talking to him about my new stand, and the sump I was gonna build out of a 20g I had. He told me about a sump he made, and would sell it for $50, which included pretty much all the plumbing fittings I needed (well over $50 if I was gonna buy it). No doubt I took it. Just need to cut open the stand to get the sump out.

Few more Inverts

Sea Cucumber

Now that I got fish, and i'm feeding more often, that means a little more algae. And since I don't have my skimmer, it means more crap in the tank.

I picked up a few more inverts today at JL.

Got about 6 Astrea snails, and picked up a Sea Cucumber!

Some new Frags

Not much else lately. I did goto OA on Saturday, and picked up a few frags. Got a Yellow Leather Figi coral, and also 2 frags of green pimply mushrooms. The color on them is amazing!

Clown Goby

Clown Goby

So I dropped by JL Aquatics today, to pick up some plumbing supplies for my skimmer. I ended up picking up a clown goby as well. Yes I know I said no fish until I move the tank, but these guys are just way too cool! They are super small as well, only about 3/4" long, and extremely small, but cute!
