New Frag

We'll after my recent disaster, things are looking somewhat better. Only the Colt and Xenia and trumpet haven't really come back, the rest are looking better. I ended up picking up a new Trumpet Coral from Bluezoom off Canreef. Got to check out his cool 20g, and his friends 90g. Both awesome tanks. This trumpet is doing AWESOME, and is really growing fast.

Disaster

Well I finally got around to starting the sump on Monday. But looks like things didn't go well. I only kept it running for a hour, then turned it off, as I had to leave the house. Come back a couple hours later, and all my corals look dead.

For more info, read this link on Canreef.

Awesome Pic!

No its not my tank, but I found this on ReefCentral, and thought I'd post the pic. Great detail of a Powder Blue Tang, and Perc.

Sump Work

So last night I started working on the sump. Got everything plumbed in, but the bulkhead had a leak. Took most of the water out, and sealed it today with silicone. We'll try it again tomorrow.

Pico Tank

Pico who?! PICO! Smaller than a nano! 3/4g! On saturday we went down to the states, and dropped by Petco, where we (Paul and I) found a smoking deal on a Red Sea Aquavase. It was missing a light, but for $10, a steal. Paul picked it up to start his own tiny tank in his apartment, where he could have his own hermit crab, and what not. After helping him set it up a few days later, I just had to get my own. I ended up giving him my light, and figured I'd make my own LED lighting setup. Check out the link for more pics...
